LITURGY OF THE WORD 1st READING JEREMIAH 20:10-13 (The Lord Our Champion) Jeremiah, a man chosen by God, tells how threatened his life is. His enemies lurk on every side, anxious to take vengeance on him. The Lord will protect him and confound the evildoers.

2nd READING 1st ROMANS 5:12-15 (The Grace of God) Through the sin of Adam, death and the consequences of sin came into the world. But through Jesus Christ, the grace of God abounds in the world.
THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW 10:26-33 (Witnesses for Christ) Jesus directs his Apostles to fear no human beings. All truth will become known. He describes people’s worth in the eyes of God who knows all things. Whoever confesses Jesus before others will be acknowledged before God in heaven.

American Martyrs Parish Council & Church Appeal American Martyrs Parish Council elections will be held the weekends of June 20/21 and June 27/28. Ballots will be available in the pews those weekends and can be placed in the collection basket. Please be sure to fill out your American Martyrs church appeal form. Additional forms will be available on the table in the back of church. Completed forms can be placed in the basket in back of church or turned in with your collection. Mission Priest Next week, we welcome Missionary Priest Rev. Absalom Fernandez Antony from the Diocese of Punalur, India. He will speak to both churches about his mission and the work of the Church in his diocese.
